Helpful Hints to Refresh Your Laundry Room

http://www.walldecorplusmore.com/laundry-room-wall-decal-letters-soak-wash-dry-fold-vinyl-stickers/ After all, the Laundry Room is where a lot of the "clean routine" happens in your home–it needs to be both attractive and functional, a pleasant place to complete those tasks that keep your family humming along on a clean track. It's quite suitable as a Do it yourself project too.

Has your Laundry Room become a catch-all? A dingy place you try to avoid? Let's change that. First, figure out how you want the room to function: is it also a mudroom? a second bathroom? a sewing space? Decide how you want it to look and where you want things to go.

Next comes cleaning. Remove everything that will no longer hide out in there. Sweep and mop the floor, wipe down shelves, scrub cabinets and appliances in and out, and clean your sink. (Don't forget to check lint traps, they can be a fire hazard.) Wash any windows and curtains. Now the fun begins!

Revamp your Laundry Room with color! Nothing refreshes like a coat of paint. Choose a cheerful wall color that energizes you.

Now you're ready to reorganize! Get rid of all the supplies you no longer use. Then be sure you have handy shelves, rolling carts or cabinets in place for storage. Use a fun patterned fabric to hide unsightly things like pipes under the sink. You'll also need a place to fold clothes: a countertop (a drop-down one if space is tight) or a rolling cart with a counter on it. Be sure you have a sorting cart to separate colors and whites. Hooks or hanging bars and hangers can be used for drip-dry items and will save on ironing if you hang things up right out of the dryer.

Laundry starts and ends elsewhere–mostly in bedrooms and kitchens. How about different colored hampers, clothes baskets and hangers for each member of the family? It makes putting away clean laundry so much easier!

If the budget allows, b
ring in new machines! Add a creative backsplash to brighten up the wall. If your Laundry Room is small, use curtains instead of doors. Curtain rings slide easily and will improve function while adding charm.

Now you're ready to decorate. Wall decal stickers from Wall Decor Plus More and Laundry Room sayings are a fun addition. There are so many to choose from! Pick one that makes you smile. Or add stripe or polka dot vinyl wall decals to create patterns that will liven up those walls. Vinyl stickers are so easy to apply and easy to remove and won't harm your new paint.

Whatever day you do laundry–even if it's every day–a fresh clean space will make Laundry Day a lot more pleasant. Really!

Add Some Sugar & Spice to a Girl's Room

http://www.walldecorplusmore.com/tree-wall-decals-with-leaves-butterfly-birds-vinyl-stickers-for-nursery-or-girls-room/ Are you contemplating a beautiful nursery for your new baby girl? Or is it already time to transform that nursery into a big girl's room? Here are a few ideas for adding some sugar and spice to that transformation.

Make use of color! It's a great room decor tool, and you get lots of bang for your buck. Try creating a rainbow-like, color filled room. But do use a neutral tone somewhere in the room to balance the boldness/brightness, just a little.

Sayings and quotes are always a big hit with girls. Let your daughter help you choose the wall decal that suits her perfectly–just click on our website! We have loads of wall stickers for baby girl nursery decor, as well as for the transformation into a big girl bedroom.

It's never too early to add a little sophistication to your baby girl's life. One way is to add her own initials in a pretty monogram wall sticker–the appeal is timeless, and it's so easy to do.
Chalkboard walls are always fun to create! This is another wall decor idea for a girl's room that is timeless. When she's little, you can draw pictures or write on it for her. Then, through the years, she'll have fun making her own creations, from a toddler's scribbles to a teen's drawings, poems, lists or goals, or even math equations. Don't forget to include a bulletin board to display all those special photos and keepsakes.

How about adding a monogram sticker with her name to personalize her room? This is also a good solution if siblings share a room; it helps them define their own space. You can even choose a zebra print monogram for some extra fun, or to go with an animal theme.

If you are set on using pink in your girl's room (but don't want it to be too sweet or too pastel-like), try adding some richer tones like browns, charcoal grays, or even black to balance the pink tones. That will add some spice to the sugar!

There are so many ways to make a little girl's room into a dream come true! I hope these ideas inspire you as you transform your baby girl's nursery into a girl's room she will enjoy for years to come!

Top 10 Ways to Show Love On Mother's Day

http://www.walldecorplusmore.com/Good-Moms-have-Sticky-Floors-Happy-Kids-Kitchen-Wall-Decal-Stickers-2-Colors-37x20/Stumped for a Mother's Day gift this year? Here are 10 ideas to jumpstart your imagination with ways to show Mom how much you appreciate her and all she does.

1. Pinterest has so many creative ideas, many that you can make yourself! DIY gifts are always especially meaningful to moms.

2. Another wonderful place to look for gifts for mom is on Amazon. They have awesome deals and great shipping prices.

3. Flowers are always welcome for Mother's Day! A large colorful bouquet or a simple bunch of daisies, it doesn't matter as long as they are her favorite. If you don't know her favorite flower, be a spy and ask around, then surprise her.

4. Wall Decor Plus More has so many wall stickers that pertain to Mom, from brand new moms to moms who are now grandmas, we'll have something for her!

5. Take a favorite picture of you and your mom (or the whole family), and have it printed out on a canvas! A personal photo like this makes an awesome gift, and one that she'll treasure for a long time to come!

6. Maybe potted herbs are more to your mom's liking, especially if she enjoys cooking. A few pots of fresh herbs flourishing on the windowsill can be delightful. And they can be moved outdoors when the weather is right.

7. Finding Mom a special card can help tell her how you feel, especially if you don't say it often enough. Whether it's a sappy card that tugs at her heart or a humorous card that makes her laugh, she'll treasure the thought you put into your particular choice for her.

8. Lots of moms love roses, but not all the maintenance and bending required for rose bushes. Buy her a rose tree! They are hardy, bloom for up to 9 months and need little to no maintenance! Some varieties do well on a patio or deck in a pot too, if mom is a condo or apartment dweller.

9. If you're not sure what she'd like in flowers or plants, buy her that big planter she's been eying, along with a gift card to her favorite greenhouse, so she can fill it with her favorites to enjoy from her patio or deck!

10. Moms love the traditional breakfast in bed for a special start to Mother's Day. Taking her out to lunch, or for dinner and drinks, or even to a film she wants to see all make for warm memories.

Every mother deserves a special day of recognition. Whether they are sleepless from a new infant or from a curfew-challenging teen, or even coping with adult children who still think they know everything, moms surely deserve at least one day of relaxation and appreciation. It's the little things that let Mom know she's cherished, not just on this special day but every day!

Happy Mother's Day to all our precious moms!
